Athlete bibs will be handed out at the information desk
(inside the event venue) on the day of the race.
Please have your athlete bibs on your chest by the start time
and proceed to the starting point.
*Details of the event will be communicated by email at least
one week prior to the event.
For the Full Marathon and 10 Mile Run, participants will be
divided into groups and will start at different times for a wave start.
*A “wave start” is a starting method in which participants are
divided into groups to avoid congestion at the beginning and will run at staggered times.

The rules and regulations of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), World Para Athletics (WPA), and the rules of this event shall
apply.
・B1: Vision is limited to light perception and cannot detect any distance or direction.
・B2: Can recognize the shape of the hand to a visual acuity of 0.03, or a visual field of 5 degrees or less.
・B3: Visual acuity from 0.03 to 0.1 and visual field between 5 and 20 degrees.
Visually impaired runners who do not fall into these categories should participate in the Kasumigaura Marathon General Division.
*For the B3 category, guide runners will not be eligible for prizes.
*Only IPC-Registered runners may enter in the IPC-Registered Runners Division.

200 yen out of the participation fee will be used for the Kasumigaura Water Purification Campaign Fund and a guide dog training grant.

*The time limit is based on the starting pistol for each categories’ final wave. Depending on the starting block, it may take a few minutes from the starting
shot until runners cross the starting line.
*The race will be ended when the traffic suspension time has been exceeded, even outside of the course’s Checkpoints.

This is a qualifying competition for the AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Ranking, in which runners over the age of 40 from all over the world compete by country and
age group in competitions held around the world (participation will begin from the 6th competition in 2024).
